Attempted Murder Trial in Michigan

On July 26, 2007, Meridian Township Police responded to a shooting at Carriage Hill Court. The East Lansing Police Department, Michigan State University Police Department, and the Michigan State Police Crime Lab assisted with the investigation.

On August 3, 2007, Daniel Morris Lockhart, a 21 year old male from St. Louis, Michigan, was arrested for Assault with Intent to Murder, Home Invasion, and Felony Firearm. On March 26, 2008, Daniel Lockhart pled guilty to Assault with Intent to Murder and Felony Firearm. Judge Manderfield scheduled Daniel Lockhart’s sentencing for April 23, 2008 at 8:30 a.m.
