Deadly Pedestrian Accident In Michigan

On Friday, February 3, 2006, at 10:20 p.m., Meridian Township Police responded to a collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian. The collision occurred on Mt. Hope immediately west of Farm Lane. The driver of the vehicle was traveling westbound on Mt Hope and struck the pedestrian crossing the roadway.

The female victim was a Michigan State University student. She has been identified as Dannielle Cherie Brandt, 19 years of age. Ms. Brandt’s home was in South Boardman, Michigan. The incident remains under investigation.
