Detroit, MI (September 19, 2023) - On Tuesday morning, September 19, at least one person was hurt when two or three drivers crashed on eastbound Interstate 94 in Detroit.
The accident happened at around 7:35 a.m. on I-94, just before the freeway exit to 8 Mile Road. After arriving on the scene, deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office identified two or three drivers as being responsible for the accident, but they initially suppressed more details about the victims and the circumstances leading up to the crash.
Paramedics were sent to the collision site to check on the injured, but so far, no details about the severity or current status of the victims have been released.
The Detroit Police Department and the Wayne County Sheriff's Office have been conducting a joint investigation but have not released any new information.
