Kent, MI – Accident Reported on US-131 near Hall St

Kent, MI (April 23, 2024) – The Michigan Department of Transportation informed the police, firefighters, and emergency medical services of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Monday evening, April 22. The incident took place just after 6:30 p.m.

Official reports show that the northbound side of US Highway 131 was blocked after Hall Street as a result of the vehicle collision. Authorities arrived at the scene and closed off a portion of the roadway as they worked to clear the involved vehicles from the road. Medical personnel responded to the crash to care for injured victims. At least one of the people involved in the collision was transported to a local hospital for further medical care. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
