Dover Twp., MI – Injuries Follow Two-Vehicle Wreck on W Carleton Rd

Dover Township, MI (June 4, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Dover Township left two people severely injured. The collision occurred during the evening hours on Sunday, June 2.

Law enforcement reports indicate that a 50-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man were riding a 1999 Yamaha motorcycle East on West Carlton Road. As they proceeded through the intersection of Benner Highway, the vehicle collided with a second vehicle. The second vehicle's driver, an 87-year-old woman, attempted to turn southbound onto the highway when the vehicles collided. The couple in the motorcycle sustained severe injuries in the crash. Both victims were rushed to area hospitals for medical care. The 87-year-old woman was transported to an area hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
