Flint, MI – Vehicle Collision Reported on I-475 near W Atherton Rd

Flint, MI (November 11, 2024) – On November 10, emergency crews were informed that their assistance was needed at the scene of a crash that occurred in the city of Flint. The collision occurred at around 6:50 a.m. on November 10.

According to reports from 911 dispatchers in Genesee County, an automobile accident blocks multiple southbound lanes of Interstate 475 near West Atherton Road. The accident prompted a temporary road closure while emergency crews responded to assist. Paramedics quickly cared for the injured, transporting some to area hospitals. Police are currently investigating the incident.
