Macomb County, MI. – A man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Thursday near St. Clair Shores.
According to Michigan State Police, the accident happened around 9:30 a.m. on westbound I-94 near 10 Mile Road.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of a passenger vehicle was involved in a single-vehicle crash.
The driver exited the disabled car and was hit by a passing car. The man fell in the left lane where he was hit by a second vehicle.
The victim, identified only as a 35-year-old man from Detroit, was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the first vehicle a 30-year-old Detroit man, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
Police are investigating the accident.
