Ferndale, MI. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Ferndale on Friday evening.

The accident happened around 7:40 p.m. on 8 Mile Road near Lindsay Lane, according to the Ferndale Police Department.

A pedestrian was reportedly hit by a vehicle in the area in unclear circumstances.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital where they later died.

The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.

Information about the involved driver was not immediately available.
