Ferndale, MI (November 19, 2021) – Three people sustained serious injuries after they were involved in a single-vehicle collision on a roadway in Ferndale. The wreck happened at approximately 5:00 a.m. on November 17.
Ferndale police responded to the scene located on westbound Eight Mile Road near Flowerdale Street. Local reports state that the vehicle was occupied by a driver and two passengers at the time.
All three involved parties suffered severe injuries and were transported to an area medical center where they were reported to be in critical condition. Their names have not been released at this time.
The vehicle involved in the wreck was reported stolen on November 16 in Redford Township. Officers with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office assisted police from Ferndale in investigating at the scene.
Only one lane of traffic was open on Eight Mile Road for several hours in the aftermath of the wreck while responders were present in the area. Police in Ferndale continue to investigate the details of the incident.
