Hart, MI (November 28, 2021) - Michigan State Police reported that a car occupied by five people crashed into a tree on Sunday, November 28th at about 1:45 a.m.
The crash happened in Hart, on West Taylor Road in the area of North 72nd Avenue, in Oceana County. The accident left one person, a 23-year-old man from Shelby, deceased.
The three other passengers along with the driver all sustained very serious injuries and were transported by ambulance to area hospitals.
Troopers were assisted on scene by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office, Hart Fire Department, and Life EMS.
Alcohol is believed to have been involved.
This accident is under investigation by the Michigan State Police Hart Post.
