Waterford Twp, MI (December 1, 2021) – On Wednesday afternoon, December 1, Oakland County police officers were dispatched to a major car accident in Waterford Township. The collision occurred at around 2:23 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 at M-15, according to reports from officials.
Several lanes of the interstate were closed while emergency responders assisted injured victims. The left shoulder, left lane, and center lane all remained closed for some time throughout the afternoon.
At least one person was hurt as a result of the accident. Currently, the extent of the resulting injuries has not been reported. The injured victims were transported by ambulance to an area medical center for treatment as needed.
