Burton, MI (December 13, 2021) - A car accident took place in Burton, Genesee County on the evening of December 10, Friday. Reports indicate that the wreck occurred just after 7:00 p.m.
Police and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene located on Interstate 69 near Belsay Road. Upon their arrival, they found one or more people in need of assistance. Ambulances, police cruisers, and fire trucks were observed on-site.
Two left lanes were shut down while officers investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash and paramedics worked to assist injured parties.
The names of the victims have not been released.
