Detroit, MI (December 14, 2021) – Police officers in Detroit were dispatched to the scene of a major car crash on Tuesday, December 14. According to local officials, the collision happened at 6:23 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 94.
While emergency personnel rendered aid to those involved at the scene, located on I-94 after I-696, multiple lanes of the interstate were shut down. The lanes that were closed included the right center lane and right lane.
At least one person was hurt in the crash. The magnitude of their injuries remains unknown at this time. All wounded parties were transported to an area medical center by ambulance for treatment.
