Michigan Auto Accident
Michigan car accidents happen all too often. On average, the state sees more than 300,000 car crashes per year. Approximately 75,000 people are injured in these accidents and over 1,000 lose their lives each year. This year, 2021, 1,083 people were killed due to car crashes in Michigan.
Sustaining injuries in an auto accident can be an overwhelming and frightening experience. Not only are victims faced with painful and sometimes debilitating injuries, those injuries often require extensive and costly medical care that can last for days, weeks, or months. This can take up a lot of time and energy, not to mention money.
Sometimes emergency surgery is required depending on the severity of the injuries that result from an accident. These circumstances are not only physically and emotionally difficult to deal with, they can also drain a person’s bank account quickly, leaving them with little to no financial resources to get back on their feet. A car crash lawyer in Detroit may be able to help you if you find yourself stuck in a situation of this nature.
