Easton Township, MO (January 1, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Ionia County on Friday evening, December 31, left two people seriously injured.
Reports from local authorities show that a 23-year-old man from Belding was traveling north in a 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck on Bellamy Road. As the vehicle passed through the intersection of Dildine Road, it collided with a 2012 Dodge pickup truck.
The impact of the crash caused the driver of the Chevy to be ejected from his vehicle. The injured driver and the driver of the Dodge, a 29-year-old man, were both transported to area hospitals with severe injuries.
A passenger in the Dodge, a 26-year-old female, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
