Redford Township, MI (January 2, 2022) – The Michigan Department of Transportation reported a motor vehicle accident in Redford Township that sent an unknown number of people to area hospitals with injuries on Sunday morning, January 2.
Just before noon, calls came in regarding a crash that was blocking the westbound side of Interstate 96.
Reports show that a collision between vehicles blocked the roadway, causing moderate delays throughout the area of Beech Daly Road.
At least one person involved in the crash was injured. EMS treated injured victims on-site before transporting them to area hospitals where they underwent further treatment and evaluation.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
