Allendale Twp, MI (January 7, 2022) - A man was injured after being struck by a car in Allendale Township on Friday morning, January 7. The crash took place at the intersection of Warner Street and 64th Avenue at around 5:30 a.m.
Emergency responders were called to the scene of a pedestrian-vehicle accident. A 60-year-old man who lives in the area was reportedly chasing his dog when he ran onto the road. He was hit by a car driven by a 45-year-old Allendale Township man. The driver remained at the scene and contacts authorities.
The injured pedestrian suffered damage to his arm, shoulder, and head and was transported to Spectrum Health hospital for treatment. An ongoing investigation into the accident is underway.
