Michigan Apartment Fires
No matter where a fire starts, it can be extremely dangerous. Fire departments throughout the United States receive approximately 354,000 reports of residential structure fires each year. Victims of major fires often suffer injuries such as smoke inhalation, second and third-degree burns, and sometimes emotional problems like PTSD may occur depending on the circumstances of the accident. According to statistics, structure fires kill an average of 2,620 civilians each year and injure another 11,220 people across the country.
After a serious accident, many victims are unsure how to go about collecting the compensation they need in order to financially recover successfully. As a result, they might feel confused and overwhelmed. When injured people try to negotiate with a large insurance company on their own, they frequently run into problems. This only adds to the stress and frustration they may already be experiencing. In some cases, injured parties can speak with an experienced Michigan personal injury attorney about their legal options for filing a claim and receiving fair compensation.
