Detroit, MI (February 20, 2022) – A major car accident took place on an interstate in Detroit on Sunday, February 20. The incident was reported to officials at around 4:25 p.m.
Police and first responders were called to the scene, located on Interstate 75 at Eureka Street. Upon their arrival, they rendered aid and emergency transportation to those who sustained injuries in the wreck.
The left shoulder and left lane of the interstate were shut down while officers investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash. Delays in traffic were observed in the area and local motorists were asked to use alternate routes of travel for the time being.
The names of the victims have not been released at this time. Police officials in Detroit continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
