Eastpointe, MI (March 17, 2022) – A motorcyclist was struck by an SUV and injured on Tuesday, March 15, at approximately 7:14 a.m.
According to reports, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of 8 Mile Road near Cushing Street. When police arrived at the scene, the motorcyclist was found lying in the roadway.
The victim was transported to Ascension St John Hospital in Detroit and is currently listed in serious condition.
The SUV’s driver stayed at the scene and is currently cooperating with police. Authorities in Eastpointe continue to investigate the details of the wreck.
