Georgetown Twp, MI - Two Motorcyclists Ejected in Crash at Port Sheldon St & Chicago Dr

Georgetown Twp, MI (June 1, 2023) - Two motorcycle riders were hurt after an accident on Tuesday, May 30, in the area of Georgetown Township. 

At around 1:02 p.m., it was reported that a motorcycle had crashed on Port Sheldon Street near Chicago Drive. A 32-year-old man from Walker was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle headed eastbound when he encountered loose debris on the road. The man lost control of the bike and hit a guardrail. 

He and his passenger, a 31-year-old Walker woman, were ejected from the bike. The driver was taken to a hospital, and the passenger was treated at the scene. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
