Lansing, MI - Two-Vehicle Wreck at Michigan & Pennsylvania Aves Ends in Injuries

Lansing, MI (August 5, 2023) - As a result of a collision with reported victim injuries, the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue was closed on Saturday evening, August 5, per early statements released by officers with the Lansing Police Department.

The roadway in the area of EW Sparrow Hospital in downtown Lansing was shut down after a multi-vehicle collision that occurred around 9:50 p.m. on August 5. Two vehicles were involved in the collision, and one of them was entirely overturned when emergency responders arrived on the scene.

There were five vehicles from the Lansing Police Department seen patrolling the area. Officers conducted an on-scene investigation before opening the intersection just before 11:00 p.m. EMTs were also spotted assessing victims, though the total number of injuries remains unknown at this time.

Witnesses to the crash were also asked to contact Lansing PD officers if they had further details about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
