The wounded victims and their loved ones are in our thoughts.
Car Accidents in the Great Lakes State
When traveling on the highway or between cities, even the most cautious driver runs the risk of being seriously hurt in an accident caused by another driver’s negligence.
Millions of people are hurt each year due to traffic accidents, and it’s not only a problem in the Great Lakes region. According to the Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning, there are over three million vehicles registered in Southeast Michigan alone. There is an automobile crash somewhere in the state every two minutes. About 980 people lost their lives, and 76,000 were injured in Michigan in a single year.
There are several potential contributors to a vehicle crash, including intoxicated driving, reckless driving, and the violation of traffic laws. Regardless of who was responsible for the auto accident, choosing a lawyer who will fight for you at every turn is essential.
Far too many motorists are under the false impression that they do not need legal representation. After a car accident, it may be wise to speak with a lawyer about your options and ensure you get any compensation to which you are entitled. A vehicle accident attorney can assist you in dealing with the insurance company and any possible objections to your claim and the legal repercussions of filing a personal injury lawsuit.
There are a few things you should do right away after an accident, and one of them is to get in touch with an experienced automobile accident attorney. Get as much information as possible on the accident itself first. You should notify your insurance company and the authorities about the accident before contacting a Detroit car accident attorney so that they can begin fighting for your rightful compensation.
