Detroit, MI (September 11, 2023) – On Monday afternoon, September 11, several automobiles crashed on a highway in the Detroit region, injuring at least one person.
Police were called to the Sheldon exit from westbound Michigan State Route 14 at 12:15 p.m. for a reported collision. At the scene of the collision, one of the drivers allegedly flipped, impeding traffic. Detroit police officers reached out to local emergency medical services and Michigan state police for help with the investigation.
It is unclear how many people were hurt in the accident; however, emergency medical services responded quickly to the scene. The DPD is asking anyone with information to come forward.
The DPD is now leading the inquiry.
