Detroit, MI (September 13, 2023) – On the evening of September 13th, an accident involving many automobiles occurred in the Detroit region, resulting in injuries to at least one person.
Around 6:30 p.m., near 12 Mile Road, an incident occurred, closing all lanes of Groesbeck Road. One of the automobiles flipped over as a consequence of the collision, which was found by investigators from the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office upon their arrival. At this moment, however, neither the victims’ nor the crash’s circumstances are known.
No word has been given on the status of the wounded individuals despite the fact that paramedics were sent to the scene of the tragedy.
Neither the cause of the accident nor any other details have been discussed by authorities. If any witnesses have any new information, they are urged to contact the appropriate authorities in Macomb County.
Our thoughts and best wishes are with the victims and their families at this time.
Reports of Detroit Car Crashes
There is a car crash somewhere in the United States every few seconds, according data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. It should come as no surprise that the vast majority of personal injury lawsuits reviewed by our courts today involve vehicle accidents, given the appalling national and Michigan-specific collision statistics.
Michigan is a “no-fault” state, meaning that your insurance carrier will cover your losses (with few limitations) regardless of who was at fault in an accident. It is possible to seek compensation for both financial losses (in the form of first-party benefits) and intangible harms (such pain and suffering) via a personal injury lawsuit.
Even if your injuries are minor, you should see an attorney following an accident. Victims may worry that hiring an attorney would drain their savings, yet studies show that plaintiffs who are represented by lawyers obtain higher payouts. In addition, most personal injury lawyers work on a contingency fee basis, meaning you won’t pay anything until you win your case.
There are a plethora of additional benefits to having a lawyer on your side. Your attorney may handle all interactions with insurers and other parties involved in your claim on your behalf. Your lawyer will look into your case thoroughly to ascertain the causes of the disaster and the bases for your claim to financial compensation. This may include questioning witnesses, developing a timeline of events, and collecting physical evidence.
