Motor Vehicle Accidents In Detroit
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there is an automobile accident every 10 seconds in the United States. Not surprisingly, given the poor national and Michigan numbers we’ve seen, the vast majority of personal injury claims evaluated by our courts today involve automobile accidents.
In spite of the fact that you were involved in a car crash, even if you don’t feel hurt and the situation seems clear-cut, you should nonetheless speak with a legal professional. It is common knowledge that individuals who present their claims with the assistance of legal counsel get bigger compensation. Retaining an attorney may indeed come at a high cost, which is a concern shared by many of the victims. The great majority of lawyers who specialize in personal injuries work on a contingency fee basis for accepting cases.
In many different scenarios, having legal counsel on your side might prove to be beneficial. On your behalf, your attorney will negotiate with the insurance company and any other parties involved. You may be certain that your attorney will investigate the situation thoroughly, identify the responsible parties, and make a compelling argument as to why you should be reimbursed for your losses. The subsequent phase may consist of conducting interviews with possible witnesses and gathering further information.
