Injury Car Accidents in Detroit
Every ten seconds, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a collision involving a motor vehicle occurs somewhere in the United States. Given the abysmal statistics for both the nation as a whole and the state of Michigan, it should come as no surprise that the vast majority of personal injury claims currently being reviewed by our courts involve automobile accidents.
Even though you were involved in a car accident, you should still consult a legal professional. This is the case even if you do not feel injured and the circumstances appear simple. It is a well-known fact that those who file claims with the assistance of legal counsel receive greater compensation. Many of the victims are concerned about the potential for a substantial increase in their out-of-pocket expenses if they decide to retain legal counsel. The majority of personal injury attorneys accept cases on a contingency basis.
Possibilities exist that having legal representation on your side will be advantageous in various situations. On your behalf, your attorney will negotiate with the insurance company and all other involved parties, including anyone else who may be involved. You can be assured that your attorney will conduct a thorough investigation, identify the parties responsible for your losses, and build a case that will persuade the court that you are entitled to compensation. In the second stage, you may be required to interview potential witnesses and gather additional information.
