Detroit, MI (October 2, 2023) - An unidentified victim was struck by a vehicle while bicycling in Detroit on Monday evening, October 2, resulting in their hospitalization on Monday, October 2.
Officers with the Detroit Police Department responded to the intersection of 26 Mile Road and Mound Road after fielding reports of the incident that evening. Initial reports indicate that the driver of a passenger vehicle hit the victim, sending them to the hospital in serious condition. Police arrived at the scene around 7:30 p.m. to investigate but did not release specific details about those involved.
