The driver's truck jackknifed and its steel coils, which weighed close to 107,000 pounds, were dumped when the flatbed trailer overturned. The incident further led to a subsequent rear-end collision involving at least two other vehicles. The trash truck driver's injuries were not considered life-threatening, but paramedics transported a handful of people from the scene.
