Detroit, MI (November 24, 2023) - A man was injured after being struck by a car while attempting to exit his vehicle after an earlier collision on Thursday afternoon, November 24, according to the police. A large box truck and a Dodge Ram pickup truck were involved in a collision that occurred around 12:30 p.m. on the southbound Southfield Freeway at Tireman Avenue in Detroit, according to the police. Shortly thereafter, another driver struck the man near the original crash site. A local hospital received the 49-year-old motorist from Detroit, and paramedics said that his condition was serious yet stable. No further updates were provided in the interim, though an investigation is still active at this time.
