Ross Township, MI (December 17, 2023) – A man lost his life as a result of a fatal accident that occurred on Saturday afternoon in Kalamazoo County. Just after 12:30 p.m. on December 16, the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office and area firefighters responded to the scene of an accident on Michigan 89.

According to official reports, a collision took place on the roadway near 43^rd Street. As a result of the crash, a red Dodge pickup truck went off the roadway and struck a tree. A 59-year-old man from Battle Creek, Michigan, was fatally harmed in the accident. He was pronounced deceased on site. The crash is currently being investigated.
