Warren, MI (December 20, 2023) – At around 6:55 p.m. on December 19, calls for assistance came in surrounding a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Warren area. The Warren Police, firefighters, and medics responded.

According to law enforcement reports, a collision occurred on Michigan 53, Van Dyke Avenue. The incident prompted the closure of the road near Chicago Road as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. One person was injured in the crash. The victim was treated on-site and transported to St John's Macomb for emergency care. The crash is under investigation at this time.
