McBain, MI (December 22, 2023) – A hit-and-run accident reported on Monday in McBain resulted in injuries. The Missaukee County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of the crash at approximately 4:25 p.m. on December 18.

Reports indicate that a 51-year-old woman stopped to check on a driver after seeing a car go off the roadway near Stony Corner Road and Cherry Street. While outside her vehicle, the woman was struck by a passing car. The woman was severely injured in the crash. She was rushed to Cadillac Munson for emergency medical care.
