Detroit, MI (December 23, 2023) – The Detroit police and firefighters were dispatched to provide assistance on-site at a motor vehicle accident that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries on Saturday morning, December 23.

According to reports from the Michigan State Police, a vehicle collision took place on the westbound side of Interstate 94. The accident blocked several lanes just after Harper Road, prompting authorities to shut down a portion of the highway as they provided assistance. At least one person sustained injuries due to the crash. Emergency medical services responded to care for those harmed. The injured victims who required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
