Kent, MI (December 26, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a car crash that occurred in Kent County on Monday evening, December 25. Calls for assistance came in at around 5:20 p.m.

Reports provided by area law enforcement indicate that vehicles collided on the northbound side of US Highway 131. The incident blocked the right shoulder of the road near Leonard Street, causing some delays in the area. Emergency crews remained on site for approximately 20 minutes as they worked to remove the involved vehicles and clear the scene. Medics provided treatment to injured victims before transporting them to local hospitals. The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
