Washtenaw, MI (December 27, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident in Washtenaw County sent at least one person to a local hospital, where they underwent medical treatment for their injuries. Calls for assistance came in at around 4:50 p.m. on December 26.

According to reports provided by the Michigan State Police, a vehicle collision blocked the eastbound side of Interstate 94 just after Huron Street, Business US Highway 12. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway as emergency crews worked to clear the scene of the accident near exit 185. Emergency medical service personnel responded to care for injured victims and transported those who required further medical attention to local hospitals. At this time, the crash is being investigated by law enforcement.
