Harrison Twp., MI (January 1, 2024) – On Saturday afternoon, emergency officials were called to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that left at least one person hurt. Macomb County officials were notified of the accident at approximately 12:55 p.m. on December 30.
According to reports provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation, the center lane of travel was blocked on the eastbound side of Interstate 94 in the area just after North River Road as a result of an automobile accident. The Michigan State Police and firefighters were called to the scene of the accident to assist with removing the involved vehicles. At least one person suffered injuries as a result of the automobile collision and had to be transported by ambulance to a local hospital for immediate medical care. The circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated by the state police at this time.
