Ann Arbor, MI – Accident Reported on US-23 near M-59 (Exit 67)

Ann Arbor, MI (January 9, 2024) – Emergency crews out of Livingston County were summoned to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that took place in Ann Arbor. The crash was reported by the Michigan Department of Transportation at around 7:30 a.m. on January 8.

Official reports provided by the police indicate that the southbound side of US Highway 23 was blocked in the area after Exit 67 near Michigan 59. Vehicles came to rest in the left lane of travel, causing some delays throughout the area. Emergency medical services were requested on-site to treat the injured victims. After receiving medical aid on site, injured parties were transported by ambulance to local medical facilities, where they underwent further treatment and evaluation. The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently under investigation.
