Egelston Twp., MI – Auto Wreck Reported at State Rte 46 & Co Rd 31

Egelston Twp., MI (January 15, 2024) – The Michigan Department of Transportation responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in Muskegon County.

The accident was reported at around 1:45 p.m. on January 14. According to official reports, a motor vehicle accident on the northbound side of County Road 31 prompted the closure of the roadway near Michigan State Route 46, Apple Avenue. Emergency crews responded to the scene and immediately went to work on removing the involved vehicles from the road. Paramedics were called to treat those harmed in the crash and to provide them with transportation to area hospitals. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated.
