Ann Arbor, MI (January 18, 2024) – The Michigan State police and local firefighters out of Washtenaw County responded to the scene of an automobile accident that sent at least one of the involved parties to an area hospital with injuries. The crash was reported just after 10:00 a.m. on January 17.

According to official reports, a motor vehicle accident took place on Interstate 94. The incident blocked the eastbound side of traffic near Ann Arbor Celine Road. Authorities responded to the scene of the crash and went to work quickly to remove the involved vehicles from the right lane of travel. Emergency medical services were summoned to care for injured parties. Those who required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
