Mecosta Co., MI (January 22, 2024) – Three teens were injured as a result of a car crash that occurred in Mecosta County on Thursday evening. The accident was reported to law enforcement at approximately 11:40 p.m. on January 18.

According to law enforcement reports, a vehicle was traveling on US Highway 131. As the vehicle proceeded northbound, it encountered a deer near mile marker 130. The driver of the vehicle swerved to avoid a collision. As a result, the vehicle crashed off the side of the road. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled over before landing on its roof. Three teenagers, identified as one 17-year-old and two 18-year-olds, were injured in the accident. The three victims were transported to Corwell Hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
