Ann Arbor, MI (January 26, 2024) – The police, firefighters, and EMS out of Washtenaw County were called to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that took place during the evening hours on Wednesday, January 24. The crash took place at approximately 5:45 p.m.

According to area law enforcement, a crash took place on Michigan 52 during the early evening hours. The incident prompted the closure of the north and southbound lanes of the roadway near Werkner Road. Disruptions were reported in the area, which extended back to North Territorial Road. Emergency medical services were called to care for those harmed. At least one of the involved parties was transported to a local hospital for medical care. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
