Wayne, MI (January 31, 2024) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Wayne County. The incident was reported to law enforcement at around 4:35 p.m. on January 31.

According to the Michigan State Police, a collision occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 94. The crash blocked multiple lanes in the area just before Schaefer Highway at Exit 208. Stop-and-go traffic extended back to Lonyo Street at Exit 211 as emergency crews worked to remove the involved vehicles. At least one person was injured in the crash and transported to a local hospital, where they underwent emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
