Grand Traverse, MI (February 2, 2024) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Thursday evening in Grand Traverse. At approximately 3:40 p.m. on February 1, emergency officials were notified that they were needed at the scene of a crash on South Airport Road.

According to authorities, a collision took place on the roadway near Silver Lake Road. Emergency responders rushed to the scene of the accident to assist. Emergency medical services provided treatment to the injured victims while on site. Those who required further care were transported to local hospitals. Authorities remained at the scene for more than two hours as they worked to clear the road. Investigations are currently ongoing.
