Monroe Co., MI (February 2, 2024) – The Michigan Department of Transportation informed area officials that they were needed at the scene of a motor vehicle collision in Monroe County. The accident occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m. on February 1.

According to law enforcement, a collision occurred on the right lane of the southbound side of Interstate 75. The incident prompted the closure of the area near Dixie Highway at Exit 15. Medical personnel responded to the crash site to treat injured victims. Those who required further medical care were transported to a local hospital. The Michigan State Police are investigating.
