Wayne, MI (February 2, 2024) – On Thursday evening, at least one person was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Wayne. The Michigan Department of Transportation notified police and firefighters of the collision just before 5:10 p.m. on February 1.

According to law enforcement, vehicles collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 94. The involved vehicles came to rest on the right shoulder and right lane of the road near Interstate 275, causing delays throughout the area.
