Grand Haven Twp., MI (February 6, 2024) – Three children suffered serious injuries as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Grand Haven Township. The accident was reported to law enforcement just before 3:00 p.m. on February 4.

According to law enforcement reports, a 54-year-old man was driving a Cadillac sedan south on US Highway 31. At the same time, a 29-year-old woman was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound on the same road. For reasons unknown, the two vehicles became involved in a collision near Fillmore Street. The Jeep came to rest on the northbound side of the highway after rolling over multiple times. The Cadillac came to rest along the center median of the road.

The 29-year-old woman and her 30-year-old passenger both suffered minor injuries. However, two children in the Jeep were injured. A 10-year-old girl was transported to Helen Devos Children's Hospital via AeroMed for emergency medical treatment. A 9-year-old female was transported to the same Hospital by ambulance. A 6-year-old girl was transported to a local hospital for medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
