Canton, MI (February 10, 2024) – A 55-year-old man lost his life as a result of a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred on Tuesday evening in Canton. The accident took place at approximately 9:20 p.m. on February 6.

According to area law enforcement, a pedestrian was struck by a black Chevrolet Malibu, which was traveling westbound on Ford Road. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the pedestrian with significant injuries in the area near Lillie Road. Emergency medical services responded to care for the victim. However, he was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries while at the scene. At this time, investigations into the accident are ongoing.
