Macomb, MI (February 12, 2024) – Reports show that a motor vehicle accident took place in Macomb on Sunday evening, sending at least one person to an area hospital with injuries. The incident was reported by law enforcement at around 4:30 p.m. on February 11.

Police reports show that a car crash involving a speeding vehicle occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 696. The impact of the collision caused one vehicle to overturn near Mound Road. A female involved in the crash was injured and transported to an area hospital for emergency care. Multiple other victims were treated at the scene. At this time, the number of injured victims transported to area hospitals for further care is not known. Investigations are currently underway.
