Clinton Twp., MI (February 14, 2024) – A fatal pedestrian accident reported in Clinton Township on Monday evening claimed one woman’s life. Calls for assistance came to the Clinton Township Police Department at approximately 10:15 p.m. on February 12.

Official reports show that an elderly woman was struck by a vehicle on Groesbeck Highway near Remick Road. The woman was severely injured due to the accident. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the woman on the northbound lane of the road. The woman was ultimately provided deceased at the scene as a result of her injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained on site and spoke with law enforcement. Investigations are currently ongoing.
